New Bern Wedding PhotographerReviews Kings BBQ for Wedding Catering

As New Bern wedding photographer and native of North Carolina, I have eaten a lot of BBQ.

Delicious BBQ.

In fact, my husband and I follow the NC Historic BBQ Trail and have eaten at almost all of the places on that list. So we know a thing or two about Carolina ‘Cue.

Now, I’m not talking about some South Carolina, mustard-based BBQ. If you’re from South Carolina, I apologize. But y’all don’t know what good BBQ is. And if you’re from the Western part of NC…well, that’s just not my style. All you need is to try some good ‘ol Eastern BBQ and you’ll immediately know what I’m talking about.

For example, you just can’t beat a warm Spring day traveling to the beach, stopping off at a local bbq joint in North Carolina, walking through the door and smelling that delicious pork. Sitting down to a plate of hush puppies, pulled pork, and a huge glass of sweet tea. Aaah! Now that’s heaven on earth right there!

KINGS BBQ, Kinston, NC

Speaking of heaven on earth, you have to try Kings BBQ in Kinston. With a classic, Eastern North Carolina taste, you’ll be happy you stopped by. You can also order it directly to your home if you don’t have the time to drive to Kinston (but who wouldn’t want to visit Kinston?!). Check out the home delivery system at the Our State Store. You can find it quickly under the FOOD tab.

Also, Kings BBQ has the perfect menu for wedding catering. They have so many options to choose from, it would be hard to go wrong. I personally just love the pulled pork. But they also have seafood, ribeye and prime rib.

I recently ordered from Kings for my husband’s birthday. Being so far from Eastern North Carolina, it makes me long for a taste of home. Two days after ordering from their website, a huge box arrived on my front porch. It was heavy, let me tell you! Not to worry though, even though the food arrives frozen, it is fresh! When I slit the tape on the top of that box, it was like I was walking into that bbq joint on the way to the beach, on a warm Spring day.

Don’t take my word for it though. Stop by and taste their delicious food or order from the Oink Express and taste it for yourself. You don’t be disappointed!

Thank you, Kings BBQ for making my day. I can’t wait to visit you in person.
