Knoxville TN Family Photographer
The Burns Family
Many of you may not know that in my other life, I am a Registered Nurse. I have been for 8 years now (wow, I feel old saying that). But I recently decided to take a leap of Faith and dive head first into full time photography. I am so excited to be making this big step and am trusting God to lead me in the way He wants me to go.
One person who has been a sounding-board and a great well of knowledge, is my coworker, Donna Burns. She has been such an encourager to me. We would work late shifts together and talk about life, balancing marriage and work, kids….all the tough stuff that life throws at you. It was through a lot of our long talks at work, that I realized I needed to make a change. I am so thankful for her and her support along this journey. I am also thankful for the opportunity to photograph her sweet family!
Donna came to me about doing a family session after I began advertising for mini sessions to support our missions trip to Helena, Montana with Capstone Church. Having heard about her precious granddaughter, I was eager to photograph the sweet face I had only seen pictures of.
We had a great session despite the cold (literally 37 degrees!) at Meads Quarry in Knoxville, Tn. And everyone was such a trooper, even Maykenna! And how exciting that Brent and Lauryn are expecting baby #2 in 2018! So much to be excited about as the New Year rolls around.
Thank you Donna for giving me the honor of photographing your sweet family. And thank you for making the trip up from Lenoir City. I hope you enjoy these sweet images and treasure them for years to come.
