Christmas weddings just feel even more magical, don’t they? It’s such a joyous time of the year and then you add a happy wedding to the mix – it’s always so special! Plus, if it snows at the wedding then it gives the wedding photographers Lafayette the perfect chance to capture some wonderful photos of the happy couple smiling in the crisp white landscape… perfection!
This year has flown by so I can’t believe it’s already Christmas wedding season. It’s hard to even comprehend how fast its gone by. I guess life as a mother will be this way, so they say. I’m sure we all feel that way the older we get–there’s just not enough time to get things done. So, we are doing a quick blog post on how to set the perfect Christmas Wedding Tablescape, featuring a styled shoot by Charity of Honeybee Events and myself. Because goodness knows you don’t have time to research it!
Christmas Wedding Tablescape
Mix it up
Do something interesting with your table! Putting energy and creativity into a tablescape will show not only that you’re on trend, but that you care about your guests and their experience. Here, we used the regular family Christmas china, but incorporated an interesting runner, beautiful glasses, and unique flatware. You can use old family heirlooms, just incorporate new as well.
Bold Christmas Wedding Elements
I’m still amazed how antlers are still in style. But they are, and I love them. I love how they transition a very formal Christmas wedding tablescape into an earthy, woodland setting. Incorporating bold statement pieces will transform a table.
Warm Christmas Wedding
Few things compare to the feelings evoked by the word “Christmas”. I immediately think of warm, cozy rooms filled with festive decorations, gleaming lights and the people I love. Make sure you create a warm setting for your guests to relax in, and feel “Christmas” in. By having the right amount of artificial christmas trees, you can create the perfect cosy atmosphere to really bring the magic.
