Family Portraits Knoxville Tn
I had the honor of capturing this sweet family for the second time (PS there is no bigger compliment to me than return clients!). They were so fun (as usual) and were totally on-board with my new film photography. We both learned a lot during this mini session haha. Anthony learned how to make a toddler smile for pictures by whisking him up in the air and back down just in time for mom to step in with a smile. Thank goodness he had the energy for it!
The dogwoods at Bleak House were the perfect frame around this sweet family. The gardens were just extraordinary on our session day! If you haven’t visited, you just have to.
For these Spring mini sessions, we raised funds for a friend’s adoption journey. I don’t know much about adoption, but I do know it’s extremely expensive. Just having a child can put a dent in your monthly budget, so I knew they needed all the help they could get. When I posted that the sessions would benefit her, the Welsch’s signed up immediately. In this crazy world we live in, it’s always sweet to see people sign up for mini sessions knowing that it will benefit someone else. I think that’s why I do them, honestly. To just be a part of something bigger than Red Boat. Something that will impact Eternity in some way. I know my friend and her husband will do that through adoption. I’m SO EXCITED for that little one!
Also, I couldn’t post about the kindness of others without giving a HUGE shout out to Bleak House for donating their GORGEOUS space for our sessions. We were so humbled when they came back to us telling us our rental fee was waived. If you haven’t been to this stunning place, you really must go!
