Greensboro Family Photographer
The Gardens at Gray Gables
Being a wedding photographer has its perks. One of them is getting to stay in touch with clients (who turn into friends ;-)), and watch their lives blossom. Recently, I had the honor of seeing and working with my clients/friends Melissa & Travis Payne. You may remember their stunning Winston Salem Wedding. It’s one we won’t be forgetting, that’s for sure! So much happiness and beauty in one day. Truly, their wedding was the stuff of dreams.
But on this chilly Fall morning, Melissa & Travis made the trip out to have their family photos taken at The Gardens at Gray Gables in Summerfield. I loved how they incorporated their sweet pups into the day. Not surprisingly, they tastefully incorporated these sweet fur babies into their wedding day as well, and how sweet it was for them to be a part of the day.
The pups were all well behaved (honestly, better behaved than some children). And their mild manners paid off tremendously when it came to getting quality photos of them. They just sat there and put up with all our direction. Such sweeties!
I always say that photographing dogs is similar to photographing toddlers. You just have to keep clicking and eventually, you’ll capture that sweet image everyone loves. We adapted that mentality during our shoot, and it paid off. And that last picture on the blog post should definitely be Melissa & Travis’ Christmas card photo, don’t you think? I mean, when shooting three young children, it takes a lot of shots to get everyone looking at the camera. Definitely a keeper!
Thank you Melissa & Travis, for giving me the opportunity to work with you again, and to see you again! (And thank you for the sweet gifts, y’all are too sweet!).
Enjoy all the sweet snuggly pictures!
