Knoxville Senior Photographer
I was so excited when Marybeth and her mother contacted me about senior photos. I got to know Marybeth while photographing her sister’s wedding a few years ago in Kingston, Tennessee, and also while visiting her family’s church. We set about to plan a date, trying to work around the stunning and vibrant foliage of East Tennessee. Choosing a date, we crossed our fingers and prayed for good weather. Wow! Did we get it! As a Knoxville senior photographer, I LOVE natural light. It is just the most flattering light, hands down. Clouds are sometimes good too, but it depends on the mood you’re going for in your photos. I wanted Marybeth’s images to be warm with lots of pretty sunlight and Fall color. So when I pulled up to Marybeth’s session and there was this beautiful light streaming over a hillside with some scattered clouds in the sky, I knew it was going to be a good session!
I also love that Marybeth’s mom picked the location–Ladd Landing–it was perfect! A great bridge, some open hillsides, trees and paved paths–we had all we needed in short walking distance.
Quickly getting to work capturing Marybeth’s beautiful smile, we took advantage of the beautiful sunlight.
I love that Marybeth bought her dress from a local boutique, Everly Blu and accessorized with her mother’s super cute jewelry and special hat from her sister. It is so special when seniors incorporate sentimental things into their sessions. Marybeth’s sister Sarah gave her that super cute floppy brown hat for Christmas last year. Marybeth wanted to use the hat for this special occasion and I am so glad she did! That hat really finished her look beautifully.
Thank you again, Marybeth, for letting us capture this milestone for you. Looking forward to seeing the great things God is going to do in and through your life!
